The latest and much anticipated Blue Mars release will be available (all things considered) within the next 24hours. Those looking at this platform with more than a passing interest will be hoping that this release will provide more than the eye candy (spectacular though that may be) that has been the attraction up until now.

Having wandered around a few of the forums and blogs that reference virtual worlds and in particular those that reference Blue Mars. I have been struck by the amount of people who have already made up their mind that Blue Mars sucks.

Some seem to have just turned their noses up at it without really taking a look.
The reason, well for a lot it is pure snobbery and closed mindedness. Those already in other platforms can be as happy as they want to be but is it really necessary...
