Restless Avatars

The Animation category was looking so lonely that I had to post something. My question is:

Why do our avatars look so restless? Especially when sitting, my avatar twitches and adjusts his posture more often than a meth addict sitting in a police interrogation room filled with poison ivy. When standing "still", I look like a drunk about ready to pass out. If I didn't have the constant stare of a serial killer I would think he was a drunken zombie. Perhaps they could increase the delay between pose/animation changes.
