Default Max to Cloth Editor

Hey folks:

Has anyone managed to create a cloth mesh in Max and import it successfully into the Cloth Editor? Mine all end up being too small - great for teeny tiny people - and attached at the feet.

Any suggestions? Workflow hints? Maps to secret stashes of fat wads of buried treasure?
